With the awakening of spring, it’s a great time to think about discovering the beautiful landscapes and culture that the UK has to offer.
Symbolizing hope and new beginnings, the hardy yet delicate Snowdrop flowers between January and April – a welcome sight to brighten the winter months. The National Garden Scheme’s ‘Snowdrop Festival’ is set to take place with 100 gardens across England, Wales and Northern Ireland open throughout February inviting visitors to take the opportunity to enjoy the splendour and beauty of these delicate flowering plants, indeed a sight to behold!
As we look forward to 2022, with greater optimism as restrictions recede, many of us are planning a long-awaited break away or perhaps looking for new challenges. Some of our B&Bs offer something a little different, from courses in Upholstery or Sugarcraft to Reiki Treatment and Lambing Breaks.
Maybe a cultural City Break is calling…time to enjoy once more the bright lights, delightful shops and eateries or delving in the past to explore our great historic heritage.
Whilst there is the convenience of ‘four wheel’ travel, it’s worthwhile considering other options available such as rail, with its extensive network linking cities and remote countryside, but all in all, journeying to your destination within the UK should be within easy reach. Let’s make the most of the freedom we can now enjoy.
Safe and Happy Travelling in 2022!
