With winter closing in, be sure to celebrate the beauty of the season…and as the first icy breeze blows through the trees, feel the magic in the air! The countdown to the festive season heralds a time of special events and activities around the country.

Many National Trust properties are hosting time-entry ticketed illuminated trails in their grounds. Kingston Lacy in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, is set to showcase its garden and parkland with ‘Ignite’, a magical illuminated discovery trail. Lightopia – a spectacular lantern and light festival is returning to Heaton Park in Manchester and various RHS Gardens have festive Glow Walks. Grand Houses such as Chatsworth House and Blenheim Palace are opening their doors, spectacularly decorated to share that festive feel!

New to B&B Nationwide, we are delighted to introduce Allerford View, a level access self-catering apartment (sleeps 5), on the ground floor of stunning Bossington Hall, with wonderful views of Exmoor and the sea. The apartment benefits from a very generous sized kitchen diner, large bedroom with en-suite wet room bathroom and the lounge has two sofa beds. Guests have use of the 8 acres of grounds, tennis court and squash court. The house even has an exclusive private use sauna!
