Located on the farm. Near to the beautiful village of Cowshill with a good pub and sits in the valley of Weardale, Alice’s Cottage is a real family home, ideal for children where they can see Harry and meet his Hereford Cattle and Calves. We have our dogs Alice who loves to go for a walk, Fly is our farm collie. Collect eggs from our chickens.
Sleeping five there are 3 bedrooms, a single, a large twin ensuite suitable for wheelchair users and a double with a kingsize bed. A large accessible roll in shower and WC. services the twin and the single room.
The large fitted spacious dining kitchen has a dish washer, washing machine,electric cooker and grill, halogen hob, toaster, slow cooker, large fridge freezer, beach dining table that seats six.
The open plan lounge, with fire and two comfy leather sofa’s and a comfortable chair has a TV with Free View, DVD and fast WFI + 4G. A side door leads outside to a pleasant seating area. Patio and sheltered garden with access through the arch-way back to the front of the cottage where you will see the most amazing panoramic views looking down the dale.
Directions: On the A689 mid way between Alston & Stanhope. 10 miles each way. Follow A1, then A68. Then West on A869.
