Hello, we are 2 guests from Germany and we did spend in August ’19 a 3-weeks-holiday in GB. Coming with Ferry from Calais we started our drive to the North in Dover. It was not our first visite in your country, but before going back to the continent we prepared a 2-day-stay in Dover.
The “Little Green Book” is such a wonderful helper to find a good B&B!
The “Maison-Dieu-Guesthouse” is a very good place when you visite Dover! Barry & Diane French are so very kind and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are pretty, very clean and you’ll miss nothing!
In the morning Barry will serve you a delicious breakfast including all you selected.
We booked the smallest room/5! with 2 single-beds and private-bathroom a few steps next door, because it was only for 3 nights. We had 1 day to visite the Dover-Castle and the 2. day we did a splendid walk along the White Cliffs to the lighthouse!
The weather was pretty sunny and the next morning we took an early Ferry back to Calais, after enjoying the last, good english breakfast in “Maison-Dieu-Guesthouse” !
It had been wonderful Holidays, and with a sack full of good memories we returned to Düsseldorf, Rhineland!
Beg your pardon, surely you’ll find some mistakes, I don’t write often in your language, and school is over since more
than 50 years!
