Mincombe Barn, Sidbury, Sidmouth

Stay at Mincombe Barn, set on a working sheep farm, in a secluded valley, not far from the Jurassic Coast. The property offers three spacious ground-floor rooms, each with direct access to a courtyard. All rooms feature both a bath and a walk-in shower and can be arranged as either a twin or super-king, with space for a travel cot or extra bed for children. Hotel-inspired touches include homemade biscuits, a mini fridge, fresh milk and bathrobes.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, with a dog bed available for convenience. There are excellent walks directly from the doorstep, and hosts Martine & Luke are happy to recommend a variety of dog-friendly options, including scenic walking routes, dog-friendly beaches, open spaces for off-lead exercise and welcoming places to eat and relax at the end of the day.
