The Old Stores is a unique Holiday Cottage in the beautiful hamlet of Millers Dale, near Tideswell in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District, close to the Monsal Trail. The singing birds in the tranquil hills welcome you to one of the most beautiful places in the country. Millers Dale is on the River Wye hugged by breathtaking views and the opportunity to experience nature at its best, all year round. Enjoy outstanding walks from your front door or visit one of the local historic towns such as Buxton, Bakewell, Castleton or Eyam. Millers Dale has its own country pub serving good food and cask ale. The larger village of Tideswell is just 2 miles away with village shops, a café, pubs, and two restaurants; whatever your holiday choice, this quaint little village has gateways to all.
The Old Stores, which sleeps four, has been converted with great character from the village shop and tearoom of the Victorian era. It is Norwegian timbered style and panelled throughout with antique pine. Free internet access is available in the cottage. Dogs are very welcome (£30 per week), with enclosed gardens for their safety. This property is close to the road so some traffic noise can be expected at times.
