This is more of a luxury suite with breakfast than a B&B. It’s a self-contained unit of bedroom and sitting/breakfast room, both large, stylishly decorated and very well equipped. The bedroom has great views over the surrounding countryside. All this for the price of a ‘standard’ B&B. What’s more, Jenny takes one-night bookings, which is what Coast Path walkers like us need.
    Thanks for a lovely stay.

We were invited to a wedding just outside Braunton this March. We felt very fortunate to have stayed with Jenny at Trojen. The apartment is wonderful, the breakfast definitely sets you up for the day and is superbly cooked. Jenny and Robert are brilliant hosts who are generous with their knowledge of their area

On behalf of my husband and myself just to let you know how wonderful the B&B called Trojen is run by Jenny & Robert Cocker on page 25 of your Little Green Book. Their house is wonderfully decorated and so many extra touches everywhere to make our stay just perfect. The Continental & English breakfast was delicious too. It is just about 5 mins. walk to the shops, restaurants and bus stops. They are a very friendly and welcoming couple. Lovely tray bakes every day cooked by Jenny. We will definitely stay there again when visiting friends in Braunton.

Had a great 3 night stay in comfort at Trojen last weekend whilst the other 14 members of the family were busy camping nearby at Croyde ! Enabled us to spend time with them during the day but retreat to the more peaceful environment with Jenny. Great breakfast, lots of space for 2 of us (a TV each!), and some really nice welcoming touches. Jenny also had time to advise on good local walk routes from Saunton to Croyde , and places to eat. I can only echo an earlier review about the room(s) and facilities – quality everywhere.

I cannot recommend this place more!

Due to both work, family & leisure, I have stayed in lots of B&Bs – Jenny and Trojen (B&B Braunton) are by far the best. So much so, I have stayed twice in the past month and plan to stay again next month.

Breakfast – by far the best I have ever had. HUGE, whatever time you want, tasty, at my own dining area. Oh… and fresh cake supplied daily!

Room & Facilities – Incredible amount for your money. Lounge & Dining area, Large Bedroom, Big bathroom. All facilities are not only modern, but homely and of incredible quality. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom glorious and the lounge/dining area a fantastic way to separate living space. The little touches and extra quality is what makes this place so fantastic.

Location – ten minute drive to the beach, ten minute drive to Barnstaple town. Again, perfect. Even public transport is ideal here.

Host(s) – I really have made a good friend in Jenny. I can drop her a text any time when I am staying with any questions and favours, or to sort Breakfast. We even text now I’m home from time to time. Robert is a kind, funny guy whom I got on with very well. He kindly dropped me somewhere on his way to work when I had an interview day at a local company (who I know will be using this place from now on too!). Nothing is too much trouble for Jenny – in fact… she should probably learn to say no! Jenny even saved me from another local B&B, which will remain nameless.

I am moving to a small place in the area and I wouldn’t even consider letting them stay anywhere else than here. It’d like a home away from home, but 5* standard.

I could honestly keep writing forever, but just go and find out for yourself. I’ve stayed, and have others who have stayed, in various establishments in North Devon. This is by far the best.

Jenny- thank you. See you very soon!
