This cottage has everything you could need for a relaxing break in this gorgeous part of Yorkshire. It’s beautifully furnished and set between the two grand Yorkshire Estates of Sandhall and Saltmarshe. Step inside to discover a handsome entrance hall boasting warm oak flooring underfoot. At the heart of the cottage is a lovely living / dining room with pretty pastel tones and a wood-burning fire to make things nice and cosy. Take your pick from a choice of comfortable seating and settle down in front of the wall-mounted TV with DVD player. There’s a side table and chair which can double up as a desk.  Oak wood flooring continues from the living area into the lovely country kitchen next door where there are lots of chic white units around this square shaped room. You’ll also find plenty of space on the sleek black worktops.   Appliances available within this spacious family kitchen include a gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave plus an assortment of other pots, pans and utensils. Dining is at the drop leaf circular dining table and the comfortable high backed chairs mean you can linger and chat a while after dinner. There is one lovely bedroom in Yew Tree Cottage, a light and bright room with neutral carpets and cream walls. The bedroom has a super-king sized bed which can also be set up as two singles if you prefer. Wooden steps lead to a mezzanine level offering extra sleeping space if required and by prior arrangement.  A bathroom next door with a walk-in shower means you can enjoy a refreshing morning shower before striking out for a day exploring the area. There’s also a separate bath if you fancy a long hot soak in the evening.. Outside Yew Tree Cottage enjoys a garden with a decked patio area. A bistro table and chairs are available so can make the most of your lovely location and eat al fresco when the weather is nice. A BBQ is provided too. Enclosed garden so suitable for dogs. Beyond the garden, you’ll find tranquil private land and lovely riverside walks along the River Ouse. Short stays available.
