Much of the accommodation listed on the website has gained accreditation through professional organisations, such as the AA or VisitBritain. Star ratings are awarded based on the quality of facilities, services and hospitality provided. We do not insist they pay to obtain this from these organisations. However, if they haven’t they will be personally inspected by one of our representatives and are listed as BBNW graded. We check that they reach and satisfy the high standard of criteria that we expect and they are also places where we would like to stay ourselves.
