For Mother Nature, springtime has already been blooming and sprouting for weeks and as the clocks go forward, we can look forward to longer evenings and making the most of the days ahead.

Plan a spring break to suit you using our website or brochure, The Little Green Book. Whether it’s in England, Scotland or Wales, a cottage or grand country house, a farmhouse or town house, you can be confident of a warm welcome! Our Hosts will be keen to share their knowledge of the area, be it a special place off the beaten track, or a great place for supper out…!

Browse our latest ‘Collection’ of B&Bs and self-catering cottages new to B&B Nationwide – we update this throughout the year. For those of you not wishing to leave your four-legged friend behind, we have a wide range of accommodation that is Dog-friendly.

With the Easter weekend fast approaching, Bank holidays in the diary (with the additional inclusion of Monday 8th May to continue celebrations of the coronation of King Charles III), why not take the opportunity to get out there and explore! A great way of discovering new places and making the most of our heritage is to join Easter egg hunts and trails. Once again, the National Trust and the National Trust for Scotland are holding Easter egg fun and games at many of their sites. The National Garden Scheme are also offering the opportunity for visitors to explore their many beautiful Gardens open over the Easter weekend.

Our woodlands are set to be transformed in the coming weeks with displays of swathes of colour with the arrival of the beautiful dainty bluebell, heralding a welcome sign of spring. With access to some wonderful woodlands where bluebells are known to thrive, take time out to enjoy the peace and serenity of a walk amongst them and admire the wonder of nature. There may be a bluebell wood near you, or check here for more ideas of where to go.

So, wherever your destination this spring….Enjoy… and Happy Travelling!
