B&B of the Month: Firs Farm – Comfort & tranquility in The Dales
This March, we’re shining a light on Firs Farm, a Grade II listed farmhouse set within a National Landscape(AONB) in the Yorkshire Dales. Close to the market town of Masham and a short drive from the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey, it’s an ideal base for exploring. Guests have their own private entrance, lounge and dining room. Expect homemade cakes on arrival, local produce at breakfast — and, in true spring fashion, the chance to join in with lambing during March, offering a memorable glimpse of new life on the farm.

Yorkshire Dales
The Yorkshire Dales are especially lovely at this time of year. Dry-stone walls trace the hillsides, rivers run full and clear, and the landscape begins to soften with green as spring takes hold. It’s a place made for gentle walks, historic villages and pausing often to take in the view.
