It’s been a difficult year for our B&Bs, adapting to changing situations along the way, but all have risen to the challenge and continue to attain high awards for providing excellent accommodation.

Congratulations to 5 Star Gold Award-winning Firgrove Country House  who have been named ‘AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for Wales 2021’ – a fantastic achievement! Set amidst one and a half acres of mature gardens, Firgrove lies on the outskirts of Ruthin, a small medieval market town in The Vale of Clwyd on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. An ideal location for exploring all that North Wales has to offer, with its Castles, National Trust Properties, Gardens and Preserved Railways.

We know it might feel like some time away yet, but with restrictions lifted, we are all hoping for a very different festive season to that of 2020! Many of the UK’s Christmas Markets are, (fingers-crossed!), returning for 2021 and are all set to welcome visitors once more.

There are also many innovative events to be enjoyed, such as enchanting illuminated trails, magical lights for winter nights!
