At the heart of the single storey property is a lovely living / dining room which has pretty pastel tones and a free-standing wood-burning fire to make things nice and cosy. There is a choice of comfortable seating and a wall-mounted TV with DVD player. There is a side table and chair which can double up as a desk and everyone can eat together at the oblong dining table and comfortable high backed chairs. Oak wood flooring continues from the living area into the large country kitchen next door where there are lots of chic white units around this square shaped room. You’ll also find plenty of space on the solid wooden worktops tops. Appliances available within this spacious family kitchen include gas oven, and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave plus an assortment of other pots, pans and utensils. There are two bedrooms at River Cottage which are both light and bright with neutral carpets and cream walls. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and fitted wardrobes which provide plenty of storage to keep things tidied away. An en-suite shower room means you can roll straight out of bed for a refreshing morning shower before striking out for a day exploring the Wolds. A second bedroom, this time a twin, is just down the hall with full sized beds that are suitable for either children or adults who prefer their own space. A range of painted furniture again provides lots of storage and a separate shower room can be easily accessed from this room. Outside River Cottage there is a paved patio area with rattan furniture, so you can make the most of your lovely location and eat al fresco when the weather is nice. Enclosed garden so suitable for dogs. Short stays available.
